Don't know if it has already been posted here but I found this on Youtube.

Also assuming that Quarterman, Hornsby, Blakeney, and Simmons all start and that Victor is ineligible to start the season, who do you expect to be the fifth starter (starting out)?

I feel like hornsby is a really solid player not talked about very much

I think he could be LSU's best guard (alongside Quarterman) to start the season. He has a pretty consistent (albeit weird-looking) shot and he's more athletic than people give him credit for.

He could potentially have a monster year this season. He's outstanding at moving without the basketball to get in position for a shot. With Quarterman and Simmons both on the court, I suspect the ball will find him for a ton of good looks.

If we can just be an average rebounding team, we are going to be scary.

He's probably LSU's best pure athlete on a team with several good one. He can fly up and down the court on the break and he has very underrated hops. Honestly, the only reason he is "underrated" as an athlete is because he's white. Hornsby didn't get a lot of pub last season, but he was LSU's most consistent player. He (not Martin or Mickey) had the most double-figure games in SEC play.

I think Jarell and Jordan both earned the publicity they got due to their ability to impact the game in multiple ways (Scoring Defense and Rebounding). I think Hornsby has demonstrated that he can do Score consistently but if he can show that he's capable of doing the latter two things as well as handle the ball he could potentially come onto the NBA radar.

Hornsby also could end up suffering NBA wise due to his age. The NBA tends to prefer younger prospects due to their longevity and potential. Hornsby technically should have finished college two years ago ( He was born in January 1992). That makes him a full 5 years older than LSU's youngest player Brandon Sampson.

Kid is definitely a freak athlete. His jumper is already pretty good but once he develops it more and gets stronger he definitely should be a lottery pick. He kinda reminds me of former Kansas guard and Kings lottery pick Ben McLemore
