I just stumbled onto this video browsing youtube. It's a fun watch that'll let you relive some of the better moments of LSU football over the last 20-30 years. It always blows my mind how shitty some of the footage is from only 10-15 years ago.

I wonder what was louder: the booing when we thought we’d lost to Tennessee in 2010 or the cheering when it turns out we won.

I was at the earthquake game upset of no 2 ranked Aub in Tiger Stadium, only time I ever felt like the stadium actually shook!

My dad was there with his father-in-law (my pawpaw, RIP) and every time we got together it was guaranteed to come up in conversation.

Then you weren't there when LSU blocked the would be game winning kick vs. Alabama in 2008. Same kind of situation. Win or lose on one play. High tension in the crowd. Almost dead silence while the play was happening followed by a synchronized explosion of noise all at once when the result of the play was realized by 90k+ simultaneously.

Even my dad, who is about the most boring fan alive, jumped from his seat the moment the kick was blocked.

I was at that game also. Loudest I’ve ever heard tiger stadium. Sucks we lost in OT, but still the tension amongst the crowd in that game like you said is unlike any other I’ve been to. Had we pulled off that upset it would’ve made 6 in a row against the humps.

God just thinking back to 2012 Bama, JC Copelands catch, and Jarvis Landry's touchdown were insanely loud. That still may be the most gut wrenching loss besides the national championship game that shall not be named. If we would've won that game, I think that would be top 3 home games ever

USC, 1979.

If you were there, you know.

End of discussion.

Nothing compares to the Billy Cannon run against Ole Miss on Halloween in 1959. I was in the student section with my girlfriend, who is now my wife of 58 years. We were screaming at the top of our lungs inches away and couldn't hear a word from the other.

Of course, everyone has heard the broadcast from J. C. Politz replayed every Halloween. He was screaming into the mic and his voice was completely drowned out!

The 2 loudest boo's I've ever heard in tiger stadium were the helmet to helmet penalty on Chad Jones and when Alabama came out of the tunnel in 2012.

The loudest I think I’ve ever heard Tiger Stadium was when they announced that USC lost and I think it was Enter Sandman they started playing.

If you were under near a concession stand you really felt it.

Many of those should not be on there.
Donaldsons INT in 97 was really loud. That whole drive in 2007 was really really loud.

Now do that and more and you have that USC game in 1979.

That FSU game in 82 was one of my favorite of all time and it was LOUD. I’m not sure if it has been mentioned other than tossing oranges onto the field. I brought in 4 flasks of Jack and drank it all. My wife brought some in. People didn’t give a shite then about bringing alcohol into the stadium. Those “checks were useless especially if you knew the security guards or distracted them by talking to them.

I’ve been to most of the ones mentioned. My choice is USC 79. If you were there…..you know.

I was. And I know. I just don’t know if we can explain it to younger folks well enough.
