Yes, but Arky rolled Auburn like a used tire down a big hill, just like we did.

Means nothing. They also barely got by ole miss and we could have beat them by 70 if we wanted to.

I dun tole you and tole you; the vegas line has nothing to do with what the oddsmakers think of the relative strengths of the teams. The spread is designed to even out the betting so half the money goes on one team and half on the other, so that a bookie can use the money of the losing bettors to pay the winners and keep his 10%. Otherwise the bookie has to go to the bank for a loan to pay the winners. This is why the spread changes after the initial release; too much money is coming in on one side. Everyone around the nation knows LSU is #1 so the mass of the money will go to LSU. -14 is needed to even out the money. The oddsmakers may privately think Arkansas will win, but that doesn't enter into the spread.
