Some people just don't "get 'it'". Sad!

Another reason why Miles is gone. He approached it that his promises and loyalty to players was bigger than the program. It was time for the change. Let's do this Coach O.

Mainly Wilson i'm sure it is more appealing to him now that that huge chunk of waste isn't taking up space and a jersey number. Mathis, Shelvin, doesn't have to be 5 star just get bodies in there with size, that actually want to be part of a team and not a selfish individual like the mythical white whale.

Dammit, just when the horn was coming off, he decides the horn is more important than a NFL contract...

This is more about trying to save a talented young man in hopes he can attain a better life for himself. So tragic every time this happens.

It's not the goal or job of a college football coach to "save" young men. It's about putting the best product on the field and winning. Yes, a by-product of that is learning discipline, dedication, sacrifice, humility, etc. but that's not Les' or O's primary job.

There are plenty of D-II and D-III schools where the pressure is less and Valentine could've gone to get "saved." But that's not LSU's job.

Were the multiple failed drug tests from his first stint or second? If they were from his second stint then there is no helping this young man. How hard is it to not smoke weed?

For the record, he has now been kicked off of every collegiate team he's spent a season with.

The writing was on the wall. Valentine mouthed off to Pete Jenkins and never saw the field again.

Coach O is extremely stubborn from what I understand and with Valentine it wasnt going to end well.

Quite possibly the biggest bust I've ever seen at the college level.

From the jump, he couldn't cut it at the collegiate level, when you can barely get out of highschool that should be a warning, yes he was a huge talent or so everyone thought, but him having to wait should have been a warning sign. Last season i didn't see anything that jumped out at me in playing time. Like i said he was 6'5 350lbs playing against 200lb high school lineman, so of course he will look like a stud.

First player booted twice?
Should have waited until Valentine's Day to announce.

With Valentine's track record, I'm not going to put this on Orgeron. Valentine has been dismissed from 3 teams. There's a pattern there

You either get with the program or you don't. Good job by O
