If LSU beats UT, does LSU jump KY. The right answer is they should having beaten UK and UT. BUT will they?

It might happen by the end of the season.
It might happen with UT, if we win.

I don't think we pass UK until the SEC tourney.

We could make a case for jumping UK, but you are over looking the fact that UK has played (and beaten) some highly respected teams this season, while LSU has lost all of their non conference game against power 5 opponents. LSU has obviously improved since the beginning of the season, but I think we need a little more to make the jump. Beating UF and UT would put us very close though.

The hypocrisy of the polls is evident. Take away LSU, how does Tennessee who beat Gonzaga and has only 2 loses not get any first place votes while Gonzaga who plays in a weak conference get 6? Also, back to LSU kentucky will have to fall apart multiple loses for us to jump them. Let the polls rest and ride this train!

Does anyone even realize anymore that the polls have ZERO relevance when it comes to placing teams in the NCAA tournament?

Don't act like the selection committee completely disregards the polls. Maybe the polls don't officially influence the selection committee, but you know damn they do.
