In short, Is there anything to suggest that the Bayou Bengals will meet expectations this week.?

It definitely has trap game written all over it. Can't see us covering the spread regardless of what it may be. I hope we hang 50pts on them but this game has the potential of dropping is in the polls.

I would buy into that if they had a quarterback with experience under his belt. He doesn't have a Leonard Fournette type back to bail him out. The gamecocks have to travel on short notice and their thoughts will be on South Carolina. LSU beats the snot out of USC east. Book it.

Apparently a lot of people haven't seen USC play. E. Michigan could probably beat them. LSU wins by 24.

I'm trying to figure out if as a player I would be happy to not have to travel and get to play at home. I would say probably so. I think the team will be focused due to so many penalties and still not playing a complete game.

I have seen things from all college teams like Bama play vs
Ole Miss that you can't explain

Lsu with LF7 has a consistent attack - it is on the other team
to do that thing they will do to stop LF7. It will then be on
Lsu to do what is needed to adjust to what they do with 9 in the box to stop LF7. I love it - it is all about Lsu rushing
even when LF7 is not in the game

You could be right - Lsu plays flat - I don't see it so we will watch together

Everyone thought EMU and Syracuse we're going to be blow outs.

They were. LSU barely cared about either team and won by double digits

Actually, I think the increased attention/change of venue will make the players want to "show up".

There's little evidence to suggest that anyone is "looking past" this game.

The only thing this game is trapping is the large number of fans who think it's a trap.

I would completely agree normally, however with last weeks game being such a talking point on how flat they played and practiced I have a feeling that they will be prepared for this one. I am not saying that it still couldn't happen, but I don't think it will be because we weren't up enough for the game or looking forward to next week.
