you all need to chill out and let Ray Tanner figure out what is best for USC fans

Whats best for his fans is to decide early and give them a better opportunity to come to BR and let those others focus on recovery.

Thats not really debatable.

I haven't posted anything new since yesterday early afternoon because there is nothing new. SC wants it close. They particularly wanted Charlotte. It fell through and delly makes his tweet as if the was the only neutral site option. SEC is "supporting" tanner in trying to make Columbia or another location work. People got an email yesterday and out getting prepped. Nothing has changed with that. Just prep. No one at LSU knows for a certainty where it will be. Again, nothing has changed since yesterday afternoon.

Why is BR in their best interest? There are more than a couple of cities closer to Columbia than BR. Your bias is showing.

There are LSU police. Also, we could send our national guard. Lots of states helped us out with their national guard after our Hurricanes. It's time to return the favor IMO

LSUJuicer: I am in a similar situation..I reside in the Atlanta area but travel throughout the midsouth. Our group plans one travel tailgate game per year and Columbia was it. Now that neutral site venues have been ruled out, I just need a decision made so travel cancellations can be made...Its irresponsible on the decision maker's part not to have made the call prior to now. In situations like this one should always error on the side of caution

Well, we have the necessary infrastructure, facilities, etc to host a big game on short notice for starters.
Being one of the teams involved helps with having no conflicts. There are lots of reasons BR is the best alternative.

I think you're just trying to argue on this one.

At this point, the only reason I want it to still be played in Columbia is so monsterballads will get so much shite.

do you understand what it would take to have all of the logistics taken care of this late in the week?

a neutral site location closer to columbia would have been ideal if things were in place last weekend. it's wednesday. game is slated for saturday morning. it's getting to be crunch time.

Use the National Guard to work a football game? That doesn't sound ridiculous to you?

Sorry the storm has inconvenienced you.

While I agree the game should probably not be played in Columbia, I also understand that the administration over there is worried about their fans, not you.

You understand BR is pretty far from Columbia, right? Just say you want LSU to have another home game and we can all go home.
