Will take them any day over SEC (Bama/Auburn) officials.

Funny how the non-SEC crew that called the Bama-Washington game actually called penalties on Bama --- holding penalties at that.

Funny, that's the same thought I had as well when the holding penalty flags were thrown.

My favorite was when Pocic got shoved from behind well after a running play was over and they threw a flag , then said. " it was an unnecessary shot but not a personal foul, therefore there is no penalty"

I was sitting in that exact corner of the end zone that Guice scored in on that play. It was a stupid flag. The No Fun Bowl is what it should have been called. But to make up for that shitty flag the refs threw some shitty flags on Louisville later in the game to try to make up for it.

Right up there with calling stunting on Dupre after his great catch or a few years ago on Wing. These are college kids in an emotional sport. There are lines, but geez, let them be the 19 year olds they are.

That was my exact thought too when they called holding on Bama.

The commentators were pissed about the flag being thrown.

They went completely quiet as if they were both biting their lip. They probably wanted to say what we were all yelling at the tv.

I think the problem was it was choreographed AND in the field of play - if they're off the corner of end zone or on the sideline, there's no flag.

Thought they did a great job yesterday of letting the players play not making it a flag fest. The only obvious gaffe was when they awarded Louisville a first down when Lamar Jackson was clearly almost a yard short. At least the booth review overturned it. Think the Birmingham booth would have overturned a similar first down awarded to BAMA?

They explicitly said it was a nitpicky call and that they are being too strict on kids playing CFB. They were pretty vocal about it rather than quiet.

Learn some fricking spelling and grammar if you want to try and make valid arguments, dumbass. You're rambling like an ignorant redneck.

Not sure what you're rambling about. The OP had a legitimate question that a lot of us had. Even the announcers were complaining about the flag during the PAT. That make us all "haters" of what exactly?
