Texas barely got past OU. Florida could not put it away until the end. Alabama did not impress. Ohio State lost. Southern Cal almost gave up the ghost. LSU was the talk of the town for both Georgia and Florida games. I am more confident about LSU than I was a week ago.

How often does this happen at this time of the year? Every autumn.

Until the Refs decided to help them out.

i agree, there is no clear cut top team. alabama has gone in each week and handled their business, i honestly think they are the best team right now. south carolina is a good team and bama palyed well.

Alabama has been the best thus far, but Bama is still vulnerable as its passing game is not going to overwhelm anyone. If you can stop Bama's rushing attack and force McElroy to throw the ball, then you have a chance to beat Bama.

What Alabama has done that no team in the nation has done this year is looked like a Junior Varsity team at times.

But, they are only half way through. We know that a Saban team will stumble sooner or later, how bad and against who will be the deciding factor on how far they go.

What was said was that LSU benefited from a celebration penalty in Athens, and Florida kept the gas pedal at half speed to protect Timmy, and still beat us.

did our coaching staff go over there to help?

must have, cuz all the rantards know that only our coaching staff sucks and would mis-manage a game......

We still dont have a quarterback...and our lines suck. I tend to be optimistic but the realist in me just says "we dont got it" this year.

Hope im wrong

all of those programs are on an obvious, downward slide. their coaches are terrible and do not utilize the talent they have. the sky is falling. help me, I've fallen, and I can't get up. the british are coming, the british are coming!

Some people think that defense is ugly. When you have great D like LSU, Florida, OU, UT and Bama you don't always put your best crowd pleasing TT type offense fans on the edge of their seats.

Me? I love D. Screw the spread and any other look to the sidelines O. Hit em till they fall.

I loved it when we made two first downs in a game and beat ya 14-0

Happens every year. Arkansas should have beaten Florida yesterday. But yet 4 weeks ago Arkansas gave up 52 points to UGA! Go figure!

Texas: Bradford injury decides outcome
Bama: S. Carolina can't capitalize inside red zone, especially when Garcia misses wide open WR in second half. Busted coverage? No way! Saban is the coach; that could have never happened.
USC: ND blows storms back only to blow three attempts inside the ten at the end.

A team's opponents errors and your own luck weigh heavily in outcomes of games, especially this time of the year. And, it's important to save your worst games against your worst opponents. that's how Florida St. dominated for so many years.

Psychology. UGA was beaten and shell shocked after their loss to LSU. Thus you saw their melt the following week against UT.

No one is truly afraid of Bama's or Florida's O as this season grinds along. The problem is no one can match Bama's or Florida's D.

Now Arkansas' O scares the bejabbers outta me.
