Wouldn't it be great is we could learn to play all 4 quarters!

This team is reflective of their coach. His "aww shucks" bullshite has rubbed off on the entire program from the fans down to the water boys. I hate to compare anything to Saban but there's a reason he's still coaching up 30 in the 4th. You don't let them dick around in the blowouts then expect them to be balls to the wall in only the big games. It's a mindset that is deeply rooted in that complex right now.

Jesus, so wins over Jack Stare and Miss State have you excited? The bar is very low at LSU these days. Thanks Uncle Les.

Should we be mad about winning?

Why are you laughing? Gordy broke it down live on Tiger Zone Wednesday night. Chark was supposed hit a guy in the 1st wave to allow Dural to play the ball. Instead, Chark stepped back to play the ball and got in Dural's way.

When a coach becomes as obstinate to change as Les has, change still happens. You just get left behind. Change doesn't care who you are or what you've done. You either change with it or you become a footnote.

Humans hate change, especially as we get older. That's a fact, but change still happens no matter if you change with it or not. We determine whether we win or not by being flexible or being hard headed.

I had the opportunity to shake Gordy's hand two weeks ago, but I do think the kick caused the play and the result.

The kick was perfect but if Chark just hits one guy Dural has a clean shot at the ball. He and Hanny discussed LSU not being in full onside kick formation and Gordy said what they did was the right thing to do with 3:40 left. If LSU sells out for the onside MSU would've just kicked it deep with the hope of pinning us back inside the 15.

Bottom line here is we don't know until we get to the meat of the schedule.

Ha, thought from title you meant underestimating Auburn. LSU is strong, much better than Auburn. That said, Auburn is desperate. Expect LSU to dominate, but if Auburn gets a little confidence early, could turn into trap game for you.

LSU certainly has their share of tests coming up. @ Auburn is always a nightmare for LSU QBs. Mizzou isn't going to come in and lay down and then @ Florida. This team will show a lot one way or the other the next 3 weeks.

I really feel this team is being judged on first game

mostly true. that game pissed, really pissed most fans off royally. LSU fans have LONG memories. ask any one of us what happened in new Orleans in January of '12.

there are other things that concern fans tho; the OL situation and the "second half situation". we can't score. one score in the last two games (second half) lends one to at least consider a number of negative scenarios.

however, these things can be worked on and if we continue to improve there's no way we lose 4 or 5 more games. the "chicken littles" love their hyperbole.

They always say the biggest improvement is from 1st game to 2nd game.
That's assuming you don't change quarterbacks in the 2nd game. Add in the amount of chemistry that typically builds in the preseason between a presumptive starting quarterback and the rest of the team and this team could potentially continue to significantly improve though half this season. I'm not saying they will, but they could.

Until we lose another game, we still control our own destiny. The fact that our backs are against the wall for the rest of the season certainly adds interest. Unless the wheels actually fall off, I don't understand why so many can't get excited for this team and support them.

I know, typical answer. Miles is gonna Miles. Whatever. All I know is, I'm excited about this team and will stay that way as long as we don't lose another game.

I'm behind the team as I haven't seen any team this year except Ohio State and Louieville that haven't struggled against weak teams. LSU can only continue to get better and I think they will. I Like the QB more every game. Some folks are still whining about the offense being the same? What game are you watching 'cause it just isn't. They need to catch the damn ball more and get healthy on the O line and they'll be fine,
