ULL QB Chris Masson on the Tiger Stadium environment

On playing in a hostile environment for the first time...
“I didn’t see anything different, really. Yeah, it was loud, but it was louder during the Southern game. Obviously, we just weren’t playing at home. I didn’t feel pressured or anything like that. I just didn’t connect on some of the throws that I should have made.”
What does the Rant think about this? I think he might be wearin the cajun glasses to say that the southern game was louder, but he does have a point in saying that the game environment was not that intimidating or hostile. I hope we as fans can step it up for UF

What. You calling him a liar?

Typical ULL guy. He won't give any credit, but if you weren't intimidated and lose by 4 touchdowns, I'd hate to see if you WERE intimidated.

So, he's saying the players/coaches aren't the only ones not living up to the hype...interesting

Meh, when you aren't expected to do anything and are used to being a bastard step child football program then nothing intimidates you.
Dude is probably used to getting shite yelled at him all the time.

It probably wasn't all that loud. We were playing ULL. Now he needs to come back as a spectator for the Florida or Auburn game and see if he still feels the same way.

Guys, I think what we're hearing from everyone on the ULL side is that we just didn't measure up.
Our football team just isn't very good, and the stadium isn't loud.
Apparently the tailgate scene and the cultural level of the crowd was just not to the level of sophistication expected by our friends form the other side of Henderson Swamp.
I say we pack it in for the season and never again embarass ourselves with pretentions of being in the same league, socially, culturally, educationally or athletically as ULL.

Exactly. If anything he is insulting himself.

here is the reason that the southern game was louder.... no one in tiger stadium gave a frick about that game, if you didnt think we would win by at least 20 pts then you are crazy

The fans are just following the lead of the coaches. DAMN STRONG!!!

You guys bitch and moan about the Tiger fans sitting quietly during the first half of the game and leaving after the first half... but when your opponent agrees with you he's a "liar"...
Nice.
Nice.

meh.....from what I've heard, it was the Southern fans that filled the stadium......ULL gripes about not having resources, but the fans fail to support their team with ticket purchases. Support your team and the resources increase buffoons.

In other words this guy is saying Tiger Stadium (Death Valley) is no Cajun Field (The Swamp).
