My boss is a huge UK fan and him, his son, and I are heading down for the basketball game on January 5th. It will be my first time coming down for an LSU basketball game so just have a few questions for y'all if you can help me out.

1) Is there any certain restaurants we should eat at before the game? and 2) I'm assuming the students will be on Winter Break, do you think the game will be as lively as it has been in the last couple years?

Sorry, if posted on the wrong board.. Still kind of figuring everything out here.

Went to Walk Ons whenever I came down in the summer. I figured that was a good one, thanks!

I would highly recommend The Chimes over Walk Ons. Also, you can park one time and walk to the PMAC after. Would be nice if you want to have a few drinks before the game.

His son is only 17 so we have a free uber back to the hotel. That will most likely be the case

Doesn't matter that it's winter break. The game will be packed and insane if we can stay in the game.

the game should be a fun one, as that will be one of the biggest tickets of the year for LSU...

as far as restaurants, I agree on the chimes. would also consider Parrain's if you want a place with a bit of Cajun character that is near campus.

do you know what hotel you will stay at yet?....

We might stay in Baton Rouge but my boss wants to stay at a casino in New Orleans since he could get some comped rooms there. Haven't decided yet. I'd like to stay in BR just because if we were to win, i'd wanna go out to some of the bars near campus
