Uggh.. A potential SEC solution is to have us play @UF on 11/19 if postponed..

We both have non-conference opponents and the SEC will pay the cancellation fees of both schools to accommodate the schedule shift.

So.. LSU would end the season:

11/5 Alabama
11/12 @ Arkansas
11/19 @ Florida
11/24 @ A&M (Thanksgiving 5 days after the UF game)

I'm sure the Gump head of SEC scheduling would love for LSU to finish with that brutal road stretch.

If Alleva agreed to that, his reputation would never recover.

I think this is probably what kills that scenario if nothing else.

I could actually see that arse hat agreeing to this.

I hope that isn't the case though.

Are they going to pay the lost revenue for a lost home game for lsu. They going to reimburse the tickets for the fans.

Playing on Thanksgiving is so stupid. Why agree to do that

no chance in hell that happens because that takes away an LSU home game. All the season ticket holders would have to be compensated, South Alabama would need to get paid, and LSU loses all the revenue from that home game.

If Alleva agrees to that, it should be a firing offense.

Yep.

Joe seems to almost live for getting bent over this way.

i honestly think Monday in Gainesville would work as long as the storm passes to the east. Think that's better than any other option since UF didn't move the game.

So we end up losing a home game because of a hurricane in Florida 5 weeks prior!? Makes sense
