This would be terrible for LSU. This would allow Faedo to get enough rest to start. Lange gets a day he probably doesn't need. Faedo gets a day he needs desperately. Our odds in game three go from about 60% to about 45%.

If game moved to Thursday, then you could throw Gilbert in the mix for relief as well.

This would give Lange an extra day rest, AND would have Gilbert available for middle relief.

Would this not mean that one of our best pitchers would get another full day's rest? I am not sure how this helps or hurts LSU.

Faedo would need that day much more than Lange. Lange pitched Friday afternoon; Faedo pitched Saturday night.

Well Florida has already cancelled a game against Stetson this season in the 4th inning... they just so happen to be losing by 10 at the time. Typical Florida.
