Especially in the NC game. His weakness was being exploited. Teams were going to go after him a lot this season.

I was waiting for this kind of post. I hope you are just flaming the board, but I doubt it.

He was average to slightly above average in coverage, great ball skills, would love to have him but we won't miss him at all. I still expect big things from LSU this year, everything I expected before this announcement.

He's a better playmaker than a corner. The defense is stacked. It always hurts to lose someone of his caliber but LSU will be fine. This hurts more as a distraction than from losing TM7.

You are an idiot if you think he will not be missed. yes, we will move on and will still be successful...but saying a Heisman finalist and pre season all american by everyone's account won't be missed is simply idiotic

Yeah, I have to agree. Georgia sure had his number in the SEC Championship. they read it off the back of his Jersey as he scored...

My sentiments:
- He will be missed. At some point in '12 we'll collectively think 'wished TM7 was still on the team.'
- I've never seen a more instinctive football player at any level than TM7. Maybe Joe Montana? Charlie Ward?

Couple weeks ago I mentioned the penalty he had vs alabama and several people got their feelings hurt.
One of the stupidest fouls IVe ever seen a player make.. luckily it didnt cost us the game.. people forget bc we won.

Bottom line is he was a fricking distraction.
This twitter bullshite was childish and embarrassing which is a driect refeliction of himself and his decisons.
Ive said it 10 times and Ill make it 11.
Ill take an Eric Reid over TMathieu everyday of the week.

Move on people.
