That was outstanding.
He is really someone to be proud of and I am so thankful he and LSU are are such great terms.
He made some really good points in that interview.

Most electric player I've seen in purple and gold.
As good as Leonard is he's got big shoes to fill.
Gotta love those 7's

That was a pretty solid interview.

I'm 43 seconds into the interview and I've heard 11 "you knows". Wow. He has a message to tell but it's hard to listen to it. Maybe, you know... hire someone to help you, you know do interviews. You know?

Yea, very hard to listen to with all the "you knows". I'm 55 seconds in and had to pause it because I cant really pay attention to what hes saying anymore. Kinda like when I watch a sitcom and theres constant laughter in the background.

Wow. He has come a long, long way.
Cool interview. Very humbled by his past.

YOU KNOW, YOU are one helluva nick picker to concentrate on "you knows" versus the excellent content of the interview. He is a professional football player...not a professional public speaker for crying out loud.

I honestly cant take it. I cant take the "ya know" and "ummm" constantly being said. Once it's in your head, you cant listen to it. He says it every other word.
Edit: I made it through. It seems he settled down a little bit as the interview went on and it flowed better. We all know he's not a public speaker (most in the NFL arent), but he did make some great points. Im glad he has his head on straight. One of my favorite Tigers ever.

Calm down buddy. Im not trying to nit pick, I just notice it. I wish I could ignore it. Im not trying to say anything negative, im just giving my feedback. Don't get so offended. Sensitive today huh?

Great interview! Thanks for posting. Sounds like he has learned a lot from his experiences; exactly what you want to see.

No sensitivity here...responded with a chuckle that people would focus on immaterial stuff, you know,

Man he seems to have really come around and matured leaps and bounds. Very proud of that former Tiger.

Many, many athletes sprinkle their conversations with "you know," so I'm pretty accustomed to it. A lot of sports vernacular bugs me, though. For instance:
On an island
The league
The next level
Hand in the dirt
He'll play on Sundays
All these phrases are trite and tossed out over and over instead of relying on any original thought. By comparison, "you know" doesn't bother me that much.
