This is the type of thread I'd expect from as an LSUDad that still has a hangover.

LSU all the way.
No way he was going to Alabama.
They taught us better than that at DeLaSalle.

Tyler Lafauci is an absolute prince of a guy! He was on the sideline for our high school football team every Friday night and worked on us every Saturday morning when we needed PT. I remember when my Dad and Uncles made the connection and we’re telling me how badass he was back in their day. You would never know by his size and how soft spoken he is.

The man showed up to our lockeroom one night and told a great pregame story and it got us going before we charged out of the lockeroom on game night!

Here`s an old guy memory.....Bob Hope introduced him and said the last guy who called Lafauci shorty was now called stumpy!

Great video. But I’m also not in the least bit surprised that an Italian American wouldn’t want to go play in a WASP-infested state like Alabama.

I don't know why, but I remember that as being George Bevan in 1969, I remember Hope was taller that Bevan. Both Bevan and Tyler were incredible athletes.

I loved watching the interview with Tyler, what a great man.

When Hope introduced Bevan, Hope was indeed taller. As Bevan stood next to him, Hope looked around and said, "Where's Bevan? Oh, there you are!".
