BATON ROUGE, La. – Twelve members of the LSU baseball squad received their diplomas Friday in a graduation celebration held in the Champion's Club room of Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field.

Since the Tigers are playing Auburn Friday night and could not attend the afternoon and evening commencement ceremonies on the LSU campus, the event was held at the stadium to honor the graduates.

Team members receiving their degrees were outfielder Bryce Adams (sport administration), pitcher Alden Cartwright (business administration), second baseman Cole Freeman (interdisciplinary studies), pitcher Hunter Newman (sport administration), pitcher Jared Poche' (kinesiology), pitcher Russell Reynolds (sport administration), pitcher Collin Strall (sport administration), undergraduate assistant coach and former first baseman Sean Ochinko (interdisciplinary studies), former pitcher John Valek (business administration), equipment manager Brian Khoury (sport administration), equipment manager Jimmy Jordan (sport administration) and trainer Joshua Paul (athletic training).
