The old scoreboard with the tiny screen and that damn McDonald's logo just seems out of place now.

Waste of money.
If you can't see the video screens they have now, that's a you problem. This ego contest with bigger and bigger video screens is stupid IMO. There are plenty of other things LSU/TAF need to spend their money on to enhance the gameday experience before this. The lower bowl concourses/restrooms are terrible, the east upper deck escalator is awful, etc.

As a UT season ticket holder, buyer beware. They put in godzillatron in the south endzone in DKR around 2006. The atmosphere changed completely after that, instead of actually watching the game people just stare at the giant screen in the endzone. Sure it's nice seeing replays but I think giant screens take a lot away from the game.

Same as Jerry world. I know i stared at that screen 70% of the time, because i could see more of what was going on.
The screen needs to be big enough to see replays, etc. but i agree that it could deflect focus.
