he needs some playing time. I think he'll be starting next year. Looks much stronger than jonah austin.

Notice the power surge by Hoko after the initial hit. That's awesome power. Also, notice the background laughter that says "Holy Shite".

I am trying to understand "Why this is Such a Big Deal" ? Two guys of simlar size make contact and battle for less than 20 seconds ????

The drill is used for many reasons
the kids love it
Puts offense vs defense
Teaches players to gain physical dominance

Dude it's just a fun spring football drill to get the players excited and hit each other. The average football play is 5 seconds, why would they make contact longer than that?

Similar size because they match up OL vs DL and some LBs, RBs and TEs, vs LBs and some DBs, WRs vs DBs.

Don't get why you don't think it's a cool drill. Just a drill that let's the players hit each other and compete. That's all.
