Defense will definitely take a step back this year. Hard to replace so much loss of experienced players on D.
. You say that but consider this. Aranda has admitted what we saw wasn't his full package. It was mix of some of his stuff with what the players knew. Now we will get the full package. They may have a few rough patches early with the new starters. But I bet that by mid season they will just as good as last year.

Every year, Spring ball comes around with promises of a new offense.

Well, there were a couple changes between this year and years past.

disagree. The interior of the dline is going to be the best it's been a a long time. With or without Key, the dline is going to be great. Will make everything else on the defense look easy.

Nah. Its players saying stuff, it's recruits who watched practice, etc. Fans are excited but they aren't making this shite up.

We saw great change with Ensminger

You don't think Canada will bring a different philosophy?

Just go watch his O at other places......this is a different system.

Being "badass during practice" doesn't mean anything. The hype machine needs to be toned down, way down.

I think we'll have a good football team next year. But, what I think doesn't matter.

dont act like its just me, there are plenty.

Ive learned my lesson about getting expectations up after doing it the past 6 years and being let down.

Like I said, I want to see it, im just going to hold off being excited until I see it.

Sorry that offends you

Most OC's like that run about 18 Formations give or take.
I hope this one runs smoother than Crowton's '08, '09 and '10 formation clusterfrick.
I don't recall Gary using any RPOs and hope we have the QB to fully execute O Canada.

Combo of the OC and TE coach? Cool.

I actually don't think it will. I think it's going to be even nastier this year.

We are also talking about a Defensive coach who ran this same D at other schools with lesser players but got the same results. It's not only the players but when and how the Defense is called. Coach Aranda has plenty of "players" to plug into his Defense to get the same results we saw last year, I would not expect
a drop off.
