les preferred to run tosses to slow RBs like alley, hester, and JV than try to pass and win

2006 team may be the most talented in the past 10 years. It was loaded.

Offensively yes. Defense wasn't.
We gave up 26 to arkansas,20 to ole miss,17 to miss st, and 24 to tenn. The 2006 defense wasn't as talented as 2011 defense. 2011 offense was pretty talented too. They dominated teams.

The reason you dumbasses lose this argument is that your best attack against Les Miles is Nick Saban and Steve Spurrier. 2 of the greatest coaches in the history of college football.

wrong.............fisher and malzahn have as many nattys as miles.......and if u think malzahn wasnt the reason cheesedick got that nc put that crackpipe down now!!!!!! fulmer and coker have nattys also. where are they now? malzahn almost won another last year. GTFo with your BS.

I think he was referring to the roster rather than the actual performances.

True Tiger fans aren't celebrating a loss under MilesDude it isn't just about the gameplan. The difference in talent on the lines was obvious.
And virtually no mike linebacker.

no, you are wrong. i want attention to detail, process and performance. i want very good on the field discipline, player and game management plus good preparation. you think we have gotten that?

Winning is all that matter. 3 years down the rode will anyone care of you won sloppy? Hell no

Miles can go 7-6, 7-6 as long as that 3rd year he wins the sec. i could not care less about overall wins. I WANT HARDWARE!!!!!!!!!!! I have said this many times.

Miles has 3 sec west titles in 9 years. So that just about every 3 years he wins the division. For example, saban has 3 west titles in his last 9 years of sec west coaching

2011 offense was pretty talented too.

it had no QB and struggled mightily against decently-talented Ds

you do realize that in 2006 and 2011, our D gave up 4.1 yards/play, right?

2011 Team Stats

4.1 ypp
261.5/game

2006 Stats
4.1 ypp
242.8 /game

No one cares if you don't do it continually. Unfortunately this is who Miles is.

the ppg difference is 11.3 to 12.6, and 2006 LSU didn't get to pad stats against a 1AA opponent like 2011

Wow. So now offensive coordinators are given national titles so you can discredit Miles?
You You do realize Miles curb stomped Malzahn last year right?
Also Cam Newton is why Auburn won in 2010. You people get mad because you don't like Miles' playcaling, you'd really hate malzahn. Auburn runs the exact same play 75 of the game.

Lets just forget that Miles is 7-2 against Auburn

Threads like this is why you are a GOAT poster on TigerDroppings. I can hear the red arse of The Miles fans getting more redder and redder. People hoping that Les will improve and adapt to to today's current landscape is dreaming on a dream of wishful thinking. He is what he is and that's a coach who will win 8-10 games a year and get a mid level bowl game. To me that's unacceptable to a program that has the resources and talent to compete for and win SEC and national championships. Les Miles is a chronic underachiever and doing less with more. It frustrates me how we're chained to him until he retires because he's not going anywhere because he knows he's not getting another job anywhere else without stipulations, we also screwed ourselves with the buyout as well.

let's all remember that miles quit in that game

he punted instead of going for it late in the game when we needed to go for it

he'd rather lose close than try to win and possibly lose by a larger margin. this is the guy they are defending..the guy who quit on 1/9

the difference is malzhan's offense works while our's doesn't. i don't care if we run the same play every time, as long as it works

Wouldn't you agree that after nearly a decade that sufficient "improvement" is highly unlikely?

So much fail in your post. Since miles was hired
No sec west team has has more divisional titles.
No sec team has more sec titles
One team has more bcs title appearances
No program in cfb has more wins
No program has more weeks ranked in the top 25
No program has a better ooc record

THESE ARE FACTS. if this is what you call underachieving, then sign lsu up for more
