He's playing as well if not better as Fournette at this point of the season last year. I say true, but don't think we will see as large of an improvement as we saw with fournette from year 1 to year 2.

I say not quite as well as Fournette. (No sarcasm)

To be fair, Guice has the advantage of having LF play ahead of him. By the time Guice is doing his damage, the defense has had about all of the "run stopping" it can handle.

Guice is an AWESOME talent. i am not taking anything away from his accomplishment. But, last season, LF did not have LF playing ahead of him.

Guice has had some absolutely incredible vision for a freshman. That is what really sets him apart.

I think he is playing as well. Lots of outside factors to consider in saying that but overall I would say True

Guice is having a good freshman season, but statistically I don't think he will out perform Fournette's freshman season.

If you mean total yards/TDs, then no... Fournette didn't have a Fournette in front of him to take all the carries....

If you mean yards/carry, receiving yards, or catches, then I think you will be wrong.

Depends on the metric. He could nearly double Fournette's YPC from last year.

I'm not going to get into comparing the 2, but it's great to have him when fournette needs a break. It keeps defenses honest. At MSU, Guice's runs looked hesitant at the point of attack, he has certainly gained confidence and is running like a beast now!!!

The thing I love most about our running back corps is watching pin dents just break out in laughter when they talk about the talent we have:

Guise can be as good as LF over time. He has all the intangibles...

I Don think Guice will be quote as good as LF, but he will be good.

I feel like he's missing that extra gear for the breakaway speed that LF has. Guice is pretty fast but Lenny just has a special gear that he gets into when he gets past the secondary.

I think Guice has better vision than LF did at the same relative stages of freshman year. I also think Guice would be starting at 95% of other programs.

I'll say one thing for Guice, he looked a hell of a lot more engaged/energetic/than LF against SC. To be fair to LF though, he was prolly tired and Guice was prolly amped to get playing time and show what he can do, which LF doesn't have that aspect (which could be what's good about bringing Guice in; that he does have that thirst)

He's good. If LF7 wasn't here, we'd be happy with him as our starting tailback.
