If we lose one down the stretch, especially to ULM or Ole Miss, will this board go back to its pre-Bama/post-Auburn doom and gloom?

only if it is to someone other than Arkansas. A loss to Arkansas on the road is not a "bad" loss, unless it is due to a meltdown in coaching. I expect the arkansas game to be a very competitive game, but I think LSU's secondary matches up well.

If LSU loses to OM or ULM ( ) it will be a disaster.

Nothing "erases" the Bama win, just the elation.

false: the Bama win was cathartic to the angst ridden fanbase who thought there was no way for our staff to compete vs. Bama and Coach Saban. Straight up, Miles and his staff outcoached the defending national champs. he's shown he can recruit w/ the best. he's represented LSU w/ class. His time management flaws can be forgiven. he's no longer a buffoon, he's quirky.

more than a win, all things considered.

I don't think we lose to ULM, but if we lose to Ole Piss, yes, the board will go postal.

A narrow win over ULM and it returns to pre-Alabama win form.

I think Masoli is actually going to be killed in that game. The way he plays and runs around the way he does.....

I agree wholeheartedly. I am just trying to figure out how long this "Tiger Droppings Euphoria" will last

My gut tells me the attitude on this board is extremely volatile and still has an extremely short leash.

consider that Im working in Birmingham Alabama, there is nothing that could derail LSU's win over the Tide. Nothing. We could lose out and I would still have my 4 ticket stubs hanging in my office. Bragging rights are a hellava thing.
Working among them will redefine your priorities.

Not to hijack my own thread, but I was thinking about Masoli's success at Oregon and how well his successor has played, and I cannot help but feel that Oregon QBs are the epitome of "system" QBs. They just stick one in there and they always put up the same numbers. I would imagine it takes a few draft bust in order for that to be exposed, however.

I would rather lose 2 more down the road then give up the Alabama win. In my eyes, the season cannot be a failure now under any circumstance. We could drop one to both ULM and OM and I'm still absolutely fine. frick Alabama. I pulled for UT in the NC over them, and I normally never pull against the sec. But with them, it's personal. I really do hate them that much.

I certainly am. I agree that the Bama win can only be erased with a ULM loss. Losing to Ole Piss would sting, but I think people would be more focused on HOW we lost, if that were the case. If it was like Ole Piss of 2009, buckle your seatbelts!
