Tribute to Mike for Southern Miss game

They need to drive Mike cage in TS for the game sans cheerleaders, and park it in front of the tunnel of Souther Miss one last time. While we are at it play a recording of the last time he roared in the stadium.

Some USM smartass somewhere in the stands would say something disparaging about Mike and there'd be a straight up murder in Tiger Stadium.
EDIT: ...after thinking more about the response to snarky comments, we should probably wait until Ole Miss to do this

Don't believe Mike VI ever roared in Tiger Stadium or anywhere else. I thought I remember one of his trainers saying they'd never heard him roar. I know Mike V did before nearly every game.

In the past, cheerleaders would bang on cage to get Mike to roar. I thought this was the tiger that hated the Mike in costume and he'd roar whenever the costumed Mike came too close.

Mike V didn't like the costumed tiger. He roared nearly every time the costumed tiger was in sight.

Or how about have it parked at midfield for pre game & during the alma mater & Star Spangled Banner. Whatever it is something needs to be done involving his trailer on the field.

What about parking his trailer outside the tunnel when LSU comes out and the players can pass by it when entering the field. Maybe in a way like Clemson does with Howard's Rock?

Absolutely! I believe LSU's 2016 football season should be dedicated to MIKE VI. After all, he was not only a mascot, but also family to LSU...Geaux Tigers!

I don't know that he did.
With Mike V, they would walk costume Mike up to his cage. Tigers being territorial, Mike V would think costume Mike was real and roar to defend his space.
This was one of the things that PETA got on our case for, and I believe they stopped the practice before Mike VI arrived.
