Trey Quinn's passion and work ethic playing football is great. However to make a statement that he has more of a blue collar mentality than others on offense isn't fair. I'm a Trey Quinn fan as well and also a fan of many other players. Its would be great to see all of our players given the opportunity to showcase their talents and have great stats.
Trey has a great attitude and as long as he continues to work and do his part while staying motivated and being a team player his time will come. This is a team sport. This team has to continue to build chemistry. I'm sure the coaches will make ajustments with players their roles as they see fit. They see and know more about this team than any of us.
I also hope that adjustments are made and the potential of this team becomes a reality sooner than later. It just takes time replacing key positions and fine tuning everything effectively this fast.

Either you've missed part of the season or he's dropped the ball 15 times or more. I'm betting the former.

So target him about 1.4 times a game?

How about throw it to him instead of taking a sack or throwing it to Mike the Tiger?

I actually think Diarse should be starting over Quinn.

Obviously the people who can make that decision dont think so and I'm sure there's a good reason. Not sure what you base your thinking on. At this moment it really doesnt matter who is playing that position. I cant see them actually being thrown to more. Based on skill and productivity along with all the things the coaches look for I believe he has earned the trust and confidence to be the best player for that position. If not he wouldn't be a starter. To do this as a true freshman speaks volumes!

He has dropped ONE PASS(maybe two) since Harris nearly got em killed in the Auburn game.....vs Kentucky Jennings did NOT throw him one pass & Quinn was open plenty!

WOW! The meth pipe has blasted your eyes

Had one poster blame a Dupre dropped ball on Quinn too...WOW!

Damn shame Mett didn't have one more year. No telling how many catches and TD passes BW (Baby Welker) would have by now.

Try scanning the entire field and watch the receivers running their routes. Quinn is open on almost every play. Not exaggerating that statement either. Watch him running routes. He's open all the time, but not getting many balls from AJJ.

Of course you have to be in the Stadium to watch this. Can't see it from the "TV at the Tailgate" or from the easy chair at home........

I'm dying. I'm sold.

Anyone who knows anything about football can see that the second and third progression reads are typically open. Now, don't forget there are plenty of NFL quarterbacks who work on vision and claim it as their worst flaw. That being said. I agree with another poster than AJ chooses the main read prior to the snap, may it may not have anything to do with sideline adjustments or reading the defense beforehand.

I don't care how we do it. I just like W's in the column. Although the way we play has directly given me high blood pressure.

If our receivers want more touches this year then they need to convert to running backs.

Miles is not going to throw the ball more than a handful of times this year.

The focus should be on winning games. That's the only thing that matters, points on the board wins the game. I personally don't cares who catches the damn ball, just catch it when given the chance.

And I'm positive he will be used a lot, at least when we finally have a quarterback that can throw it and scan the field of course. Jennings over all played a good game against Kentucky being that he did not turn the ball over and completed a few nice passes. But one play really eats me up and that's when they were in the redzone and he tried to force a pass to neighbors when the TE was flat out wide open in the endzone. Yes we still got 3 out of it but a play like that against say ole miss can mean so much by the end of the game

He has like 2-3 drops on the year. The rate is a bit high, but he will improve. When you throw the ball 12-15 times a game, you need to be able to reel in the catchable ones.

Diarse had some very short arms during the MSU game.

Ole Miss will double press Dural.....Quinn will be a viable soft target all night....if he doesn't see 7 to 10 targets we lose.
