finshes with 89!!! My most favorite stat from the game! That took Bama's heart! Just as big as the INT were those 2 TFLs! In fact i believe the way LSU was all over those plays is the reason Bama tanked it and opted for overtime! & oh 1 on 1 tackles too!

Wasn't he over 100 at some point?

many of those were short yardage situations where he got what they needed

He got up to 98, Vern was hyping the fact that he was about to go over 100... Then Brandon Taylor made the read & probably best play of his career! BT definately redeemed himself for the Julio Jones play on that 1!

when Maze threw the pick Trent should have either won or lost the game for us on that drive. He's the best we got and shoulda had the game in his hands. May have lost 10 yards on the next two plays but we should have run him either way. But yeah, yall did keep him in check pretty much all night

I love that one too. Nope...Verne was hyping how TR gains over 100 in every game and was at 98...then finishes with 89. ooppss!

(He must have fallen down in the backfield on his own because there was certainly nothing LSU did to cause this!)

I'm so happy that he didn't get a 100. But make no mistake about it, TR is about to become a very wealthy man at the end of the season, and if he can stay healthy, he's gonna be a force in the NFL.

The Maze play call was a great call, but poor execution/great defense prevented a TD.

Do you realize how that one play changed the headlines.... "Miles outcoaches Saban" to what could have been "Saban out hats the madhatter"

I think Miles is in Saban's head. Totally un Saban like call. He tried to out Miles, Miles and Miles out Saban'd Saban. Dont know if thats the correct way to say it but I hope you get what I mean. Miles lined up and punched us in the mouth and we tried to get cute

Rolltide10,

You're making way to much sense for the Rant! Better keep your identity in check because if some of your fellow 'Bama fans find out you're saying nice things about us, they won't be happy!

its crazy how shitty our offenses looked. Especially ours. 9-6

that's crazy.

at first i thought it might end up 0-0 til overtime.

Playcalling hurt Alabama at times. I heard that Saban didn't want that play (Maze) and was telling the people upstairs NO, get that out of there!

Don't know if true. Just what I heard. Anyone know how the play calling is handled for Alabama?

I believe he had 104 at one point and then his next five rushes netted -20 yards or so.

I think its more about the quality of both defenses than anemic offenses. I maean we have both pretty much named the score in every other game we played
