i'm assuming he was never actually doing fine in class, not sure how people even "knew" that. it should have been a huge red flag that he was never cleared to play all season and has never been fully instated to the football team

Thank you I'm so sick of hearing about this kid. People act like he is the next Refrigerator Perry or something. Love the guys we have now. They are bigger, stronger, and most importantly they are Older, which makes all the difference in college!

My biggest fear is that Garrett & Valentine will return to the SEC as Aggies or Black bears.

no one outside of LSU fans even knew who he was. No big loss. Depth maybe but who knows if he could really even play at this level.

I'm not too worried about DT depth.
Godchaux: got him for 2 more years (all SEC potential)
LaCouture: got him for 2 more years (SEC starter quality)
Thomas: got him for 1 more year (experienced guy to rotate in)
Gilmore: got him for 3 more years (can be part of the rotation)
Herron: got him for 2 or 3 years (can be part of rotation)
Bain: got him for 3 more years (at 300 lbs, he will play both DE and DT)
I count 6 guys for this year with only 1 guy definitely leaving after this year. That's 3 deep. Not to mention the haul that they will bring in for the 2016 class.
Nothing to see here.

eh, if they do, who cares. my guess, though, is that valentine tries to go pro straight out of juco. he very clearly has no interest in being a student athlete. garrett will prob stay out west if i had to guess
