Can't take anyone coming back for granted anymore. Welcome back, Travin!

Why is this surprising?

More surprising than some of you not having offed yourself at this point. I swear we have some serious depression issues in our fanbase. Always great to get a contributor back when he could be drafted. Hopefully we are seeing a trend back to guys staying rather than taking big risks. I will never fault a surefire 1st or 2nd rounder though.

Honestly, was it really in doubt?

I know we have had some guys leave in the past few years who had no business leaving early, and if Travin had left, he would have added his name to that list.

Glad he made a smart decision.

considering the past few years, yes, it was in doubt

don't act like some of y'all weren't worried that all eligible draft players would be leaving again

Exactly. Same guys that were saying every single one would leave. 6'2" 200 lbs with great speed. 750 yards and 7 TD's with an all time terrible at QB. He would have been drafted. 5th or 6th round likely, but he would have been drafted with a decent Combine.

LSU sophomore offensive tackle Jerald Hawkins has already had one sit-down meeting with Miles this month, where the two discussed his looming decision as whether or not to return to school or leave early for the NFL Draft. And much like with Jennings and Dural, Hawkins said there's no need for Miles to explain where things stand as everyone is already on the same page.

"I definitely feel the same way as those guys," Hawkins said. "We don't have to talk about it. Coach Miles knows how good this team will be. He definitely knows. All the talent we had there, it was bits and pieces, but now it's all starting to come together, and the sky is the limit next year."

Smart decision. He knows he needs to improve, and he knows what's coming next year

Maybe Jennings not being able to get him the ball more than twice a game wasn't the worst thing?

I have yet to see the top WR in Miles tenure regress or get worse stats his next year. Expect something like 800-1000 yards and 8-10 TDs.

with Harris tossing the rock, Dupre might have similar stats to what Dural had this year.
