Job well done by AD Joe Alleva.
You have got to admit he had called all the right moves here.
1. Leaving Johnny Jones for too long to make sure no one was going to games and we were able to achieve worst SEC Record ever and justify replacing him.
2. Homerun hire - Will Wade.
3. Leaving Les Miles for too long.
4. Homer hire - Ed Orgeron.

I think lazy and cheap is more like it. I don’t believe for a second Joe thinks Ed was the best man for the job, just the easiest to get.

I disagree, I think he was lazy also, cheap and over his head. Alleva let ego dictate his own coaching search. There is no reason why we cannot be a contender in all major collegiate sports.
