As silly as it is, yes they do.

Alone, no. They certainly help though. Particularly if you're one of the fastest at your position.

Rereading the posts only one actually said major money but about 3-4 at least implied it. When they say he "earned some coin" or he "so dumb for leaving early (sarcastically)" or "finna get paid", that implies he will make a lot more cash based on this 40 time. I don't think they were saying he would move 10 spots and make an extra $10,000

Todd Mcshay has the top 2 fast OL and Trai isn't one of them.

with that kind of time and measuring in at 6'3", I gotta think Trai is one of the big winners at the combine.

Well, you don't think he earned some coin because of it? If he's able to jump a round or two, wouldn't he be getting more cash?

I'm being more literal while you're reading in between the lines of what they "could be" implying.

He could run a 4.34 and he still would get drafted in the 3rd or 4th round. Nice to see him with a time that fast though. I personally think he will be a stud in the league.

He will go in the middle rounds, he probably moved up a few boards with those times and his size helps.

Why does anyone need an O-Lineman that can run a 4.9 40?

Bill Polian, who did pretty well drafting, said on ESPN that the 40 time was a big indicator of talent for lineman. He stated that it was a misconception that the 10 yard time was more important and the 40 time was a better indicator in grading offensive lineman....

You guys must not have been paying attention to him as a pulling guard. He is very quick and gets down field in a hurry.

There is no way I could beat him in a foot race - and he's carrying 130+ additional pounds.

4.84 that is one motherfricker I would not want to meet in a dark alley. He would beat me up straight up and if I try to outrun him he catches me.

frick I would be TT's bitch.

Thought he was dumb for leaving early well not now. Good for him
