My daughter has a soccer game in Lafayette that ends at 1 pm Saturday. How brutal is traffic getting to the stadium if you arrive in Baton Rouge after 2 pm? I don't expect to make kickoff but wanted some insight on what to expect from those who have been in this situation. Skipping my daughters game is not an option.

Great dad

I'm sure some of the super fans on here will disagree

It's Baton Rouge, and the Miss River Bridge. When is it not brutal?

I'm in same situation. Live in LC. My son's game will be over at 11, putting me at BR bridge around 1. Gonna sit for a while I'm sure!

But to answer your question. I would have to think it would ease up as kickoff starts.

I once dated a girl who didn't go to the games and she said BR is a ghost town at that time except for the bars.

Must be a theme. My daughters game ends at 12 in LP. If you have a parking pass, I think you should be ok. Traffic after 1:30 shouldn't be terrible, you just have to park in BFE.

And props on having your priorities in line. A guess there are a few of us left...
