Sorry for the loss. Just because it is anticipated doesn't make it any easier. Seen too many cases come through the hospital. It's rough and taxing on everyone.

Hate to hear this. Prayers for Rachele and her family.

Yesterday had to be unimaginably tough...ending your college career then losing your dad all in the same day. I am glad he waited for her to come see him one last time.

I absolutely love the girl. Been following her since we were recruiting her as the top prospect in America. She's an incredible Tiger and may be the strongest recruit we've signed in history! God Bless the Fico family!

He held on through her last college game. Wow! Prayers for her and her family.
That's amazing! All the more how Rachele was able to pitch knowing how bad her dad was doing, but I am sure her dad wouldn't have had it any other way...I wish Rachele and her family all the best in this sad time...

Thoughts and prayers go out to her and her family.
She certainly seemed like a good person, with her "26 acts of kindness" in honor of the 26 victims of the CN school shooting.

Her Dad sounds like a fighter and he raised a strong girl. I was super impressed by that game last year where Rachele pitched 15 innings against a good UGA team, she threw 255 pitches in that game, but lost 1-0 on an unearned run in the 15th. She's a fighter, just like her Dad.
Prayers for her and her family.

Sincerest condolences to Rachele and her family. Inspirational to say the least. Rest in peace, Mr. Fico.

Agreed! What a guy and what a young lady. And another tiger in heaven...
Prayer for the Faithful Departed
O God, the Creator and Redeemer of all the faithful, give to your servant departed the full remission of his sins that Ralph may obtain the
pardon he has always desired. You, who live and reign forever and ever. Amen. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord. And let perpetual
light shine upon him. Amen.
May the angels lead Ralph into Paradise, may the martyrs come to welcome him and take him to the holy city, the new and eternal Jerusalem. May
the choir of angels welcome Ralph where Lazarus is poor no longer, may he have eternal rest. Amen.
May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen
