I agree in terms of not going shotgun on the goalline for 4 straight plays or 4th and short but that's about it.

He finished the season. He definitely isn’t a quitter. I wish he would stay but he actually followed through on his commitment unlike some other players this season.

Kinda, he was suspended for the end. Lester's doing that because Carter gets constant praise but other guys, even injured ones like Stingley, catch all kinds of shite for missing games.

I don’t hold a suspension against Carter like I didn’t hold it against Divinity last year. Both guys stuck it out and wanted to play. Anyone who thinks Stingley didn’t want to play is a moron. Guy is a warrior and tried warming up pregame the last two games but couldn’t go due to injury. Carter is a warrior too. Best of luck to him.

More than that, it’s the positioning of the RB in the gun that drives me crazy. Offset him so he can get a downhill start, and it’s easier to have a lead blocker at wing/H.

It takes a very specifically talented back to just take handoffs from right next to the QB and consistently make plays. Just so happens we had the perfect back for that in CEH, but you can’t count on that every year.

will he even get a UDFA deal? Not knocking him at all but what would be his “role” in NFL?

Enforcer?

Best of luck to Carter but he’ll be an UDFA and get cut almost immediately.

You better be able to catch the ball.

I don't think he's that kind of player. I doubt he makes a team.

Think Kyle Juszczyk Fullback for the 49ers.

Whether he's a 7th Round pick or UDFA Tory Carter will be on an NFL Roster!

So underutilized this season. One of my big complaints was not lining up in the I formation with three tight ends in a true goal line formation more this season. Could have beaten Mizzou imo had we tried it.

Man I love our fanbase, argue against this for 10 years, then the offense finally stops doing it and now the fans want it back.

Exactly what I have said. Tory just needs some professional training on receiving.

Taysom Hill would be another similar comparison in that he plays 100% every down and play in multiple positions.
