The Advocate has a nice feature on Tory. Noticed him in the Troy game when he caught a couple passes. His father played FB too and they have a close relationship. Tory has the EYE, and if our offense can get back to an aggressive, smash mouth identity - Tory will be in the thick of it.

A three star fullback means he is damn good.

Why the **** would you hate on JD? He has been an awesome LSU fullback and has been a great representative of the university!

How is it a 3-star freshman can learn the offense but 4/5-star sophomores cannot?

Yes, this is a rhetorical question.

"Tory>JD" is all you posted.

The rest of us are supposed to construe that as a joke?

Okay.

I really don’t give a shite if you do or don’t. It’s a message board. Get mad about it for all I care.

We have a lot of good freshmen playing this season ahead of players recruited by O's predecessor. Not to mention, we loss nine offensive lineman in the last year and a half, most of them because they weren't good enough.

Then the three offensive lineman from O's first recruiting class almost instantly zoomed ahead on the depth chart of the remaining backups.

Not to mention, that with the exceptions of Andraez Williams, Rashard Lawrence, and Devin White, none of the new players on defense that replaced last year's players now in the NFL are remotely close to being as good as the players they replaced.

Then last year's best defensive player is a mere shell of himself because of time off and shoulder surgery, not to mention way overweight and out of shape.

And somehow it's all coach O's fault instead of his predecessor. Even the injuries to two of our best defensive lineman was his fault, and never mind the fact that we didn't have enough depth to rotate those player making it easier for those players to get injured due to fatigue.

He was the second rated fullback in last year's recruiting class. Three stars is the highest it goes for top notch fullbacks. Most offenses today don't utilize fullbacks.
