Even with the AIDSfest in NOLA there's probably still more degenerates in Dallas. Stay with the dome

This will likely be played in the Superdome

Doesn't matter. Also, some of their bigger contributors are from New Orleans, New York, Chicageaux, Nashville, Richmond, Jackson, Mobile, and a host of tiny little towns all over Louisiana from super rich families no one really knows.

If they pick shreveport they're complete morons. Shreveport is about to get hammered with rain through the weekend. Game needs to be played inside.

I know everyone wants the dome, but if the rain shifts east and heads to Nola they will be in he same predicament houston is in because the city didn't maintain the pumps

The Cotton Bowl is also a very bad part of Todd for a night game.
You're getting confused.

Todd will be showing off one of his bad parts at Southern Decadence in NOLA on the day/night of the game!

The "refugees in hotel rooms" comment is odd to me, considering BR and Nola will have many refugees (if not more, considering they are closer to Houston than Dallas)

Dallas is the best and safest choice overall. Otherwise, Shreveport, especially for the LSU and Louisiana folks that would like to keep the neutral site somewhere in Louisiana. Shreveport's Independence is also by far the largest venue in Louisiana behind Tiger Stadium and the Superdome. The seating capacity is about the same as the dome.

On what planet? Houston is 2 hours closer to Dallas than New Orleans. 1 hour closer than Baton Rouge.

West Monroe HS just called they say the new home side is finished and are willing to lone out Stadium for game.

BYU will be very happy. Not a thing to do in West Monroe. But if they cross the river they might have a big party in Funroe.

Wishful thinking. I would almost rather Dallas than NOLA.

Exactly! Some people on here are very dense. Look at the weather forecasts. Dallas is reasonably dry so far and <20% chance of rain everyday for the next week.

Independence Bowl - 65,000 seats

Superdome - 77,000 + seats

Don't think that won't factor into the decision.

Oh, and the only reason Shreveport is "family friendly" is because there isn't dick to do there.
Nowhere near enough hotel rooms and not enough flights into Shreveport on late notice.

Anywhere in La. is not going to work. Harvey headed that direction this week. Dallas, TX at Cotton Bowl is a GREAT location. Weather in Dallas will be fine. Besides, Cotton Bowl is a great venue. GEAUX TIGERS!
