Zeringue threw a ball during warmups at Rosenblatt in 03 that didn't sink or elevate. The fricking ball was a laser from the wall to third. Me and my buddies we're awestruck. It was terrifying/amazing.

His pop times at catcher in high school were also disgusting.

I remember a relay off a ball hit to the wall that was perhaps one of the nicest plays I've seen. I definitely remember Zeringue being the outfielder (maybe RF), who picked it up at about the wall (or at least deep outfield), rocketed it to the cutoff man (2B?) who made a seamless catch turn and perfect throw to drill the guy at the plate.

Somebody please find that video. It was beautiful.

Not even Raul Mondesi could throw a ball from deep center to the catcher at head level.
