Exactky ^^^^ He's getting a golden parachute out of a Leer jet, while Kiffin got left at the airport. Seems to be the exact amount of proper respect is being shown in this uncomfortable @$$ situation

They actually think that 10 wins in a 14 game season is elite. 10 wins doesn't even get you to the SECG anymore

"Les Miles has more 10 win seasons that any other coach in LSU history."

Of course he does, he has played 13 games in most of those seasons.

I'm going to chuckle to myself tomorrow when I see white LSU hats everywhere and think of you getting so mad about it.

What a putz.

One good thing about this thread, I'll have a list of posters who wont be able to complain about how many games the next coach loses

Bingo.

If he wants to coach at a good school next year, this has been handled PERFECTLY for him. He got in the mix at some schools where he never would've been on their list before they got near the finish line. He's now been on the radar for a week for all those jobs he's going to be interested in on Monday. The dominoes will start falling fast early next week.

He gets to be carried off the field like a hero on Saturday instead of axed on Monday when he thinks he's going in to the office to make recruiting calls and start bowl game prep the way he would've been had it never leaked.

It's hard to describe a more respectful or better way of handling this from Les' perspective and still people are complaining.

It's done, we're LSU fans, all that matters is we get the right guy. Les will be fine, financially and otherwise.

Just don't necessarily like seeing Les get torn down on the way out.

Honestly, I don't see what you are seeing. Rumors, speculations or leaks surrounding the termination of football HC at a big time program like LSU seems to be part of the business. Unless the HC declares to quit (like Coach Spurrier did) at the "right time", the process will look ugly and people will be complaining either agree or disagree with the process.
Just my two cents...

Good god, you people are seriously this behind the math curve. Do you not know what winning percentage means?

The guy you are responding to finds it despicable that Miles is going to get applause and recognition. He thinks that, because he's getting fired, if you make any outward show of appreciation for Miles, you love him more than the school and team.

Despite his alleged academic accolades, which he will be happy to tell you all about, he doesn't have the cognitive ability to understand that some folks can be glad about Miles leaving for the good of the program and show appreciation for what he's done while here.

Ahhh so you are one of those who think 10 wins is hard to do these days as opposed to seasons where teams only played 10 or 11 games.

It's more likely he's on the Les payroll. Either as a family member, PR team, agent or getting paid by the post.

He doesn't want the gravy train to end. This has to be painful for him.

Les has the highest winning percentage (min 20 games) in school history.

Comes across that way for sure sometimes. If he stops posting altogether after this year except to troll LSU, then you'd be on to something.

So he should be coach forever because despite 4 straight seasons of not even being in competition for the West the last 2 games of the season.
