Many current coaches have the highest or close to the highest winning percentage in their school's history.

I posted this last year I believe. Without digging it up, like 6 current SEC coaches have the highest or close to the highest winning percentage in their school's history.

How you ask? Rent-a-wins and the lack of genuine parity in the SEC over the last decade.

It's more likely he's on the Les payroll.

It will be interesting to see who stops posting after Miles leaves, for sure

"Or close" mmhmm. Convenient.

Les Miles has a higher winning percentage vs rent a wins than any of his predecessors. So that holds no water.

If he goes, he goes. But all your bashing has been 100% stupid, and the media are spot on.

Maybe so, and maybe it is justified, but that case hasn't been made by the administration in a public fashion - just a snake-in-the-grass leak by Joe "I fricked up the Duke Lacrosse Scandal badly, but still got hired by LSU" Alleva.

They dont want LSU nabbing a top tier coach, just so that can say

I want the absolute best for LSU. Which is why, unlike some fans, I don't root against the team during a slump to get a coaching change.

They actually pine for Jimbo to be playing us for a raise

Nope. Just calling it like I see it. Since this is done, I really hope I'm wrong about it.

Yet think Mils was justified when he played LSU multiple times

All coaches do this. Miles less than most. Sexton clients (hint, Saban and Fisher), do it most consistently of all.

They actually think that 10 wins in a 14 game season is elite.

Miles averaged over 10 1/2 wins through 9 seasons.

There has been a drop off. There are problems with the team. I don't deny this.

10 wins doesn't even get you to the SECG anymore

Obviously you mean total wins - which of course is a meaningless statistic for divisional and conference standings and placement in the championship game. There are only 8 conference games - and you play all divisional opponents. If you win all 8 of those conference games, you're in the SEC-CG.

On the other hand, Florida could have gone to the SEC-CG with as few as 6 wins in 2015. They have 10 wins now and tomorrow's game has no impact on that. They could lose it by 70 points and go to the SEC-CG with 10 wins (7 in conference play and they only needed 6, as long as they didn't lose to UGA).

While we're talking about it - Florida is at 10-1 - trying to recall to whom they lost.

Like Oregon, Wisconsin, Virginia Tech, Arizona and Arizona State.

Choctaw is a great poster. I've backed off the Rant over the past couple of years because of this nonsense. I'm certain at times, Choctaw was carrying the banner of logic and rational thought alone (or nearly so).

But, here at the end of Miles' tenure, I'm not going to let the kind of spin as in the OP of this thread just go unchallenged.
