1) put up a 5 spot in top of the 1st
2) tell Skenes to relax and we’ll get back to you in an hour
3) don’t look back and have Skenes ruin Florida’s hopes and dreams

I am almost positive If he is on the lineup card he has to pitch to a batter.

D1baseball and warrennolan scoreboard both have LSU shown as the away team tonight...
eta NCAA.com shows us as the Away team tonight too batting in the top of the inning. We're definitely the away team tonight baws.

Shouldn’t be. We have been Away more than Wake Forest. They have been Home every game but yesterday. We have been away twice to their once.

If I were on mobile Id screenshot and post but both show us batting in the top half of the inning tonight. Weird they both have it wrong if thats not the case, but I'll be happy with being the home team.

Even if he has pitched the top of the first and you put up a 5 spot in the bottom half, you would still have that option if that is what you wanted to do. I wouldn't pull that early but if coach wanted to then 1 inning wouldn't rule him out this weekend.

Correct. If he’s on the starting lineup he has to face the face the first batter.

LSU should be home team tonight based on the NCAA rules of home/visitor designation.

LSU is the home team tonight. Both teams have been home teams twice so far but Wake has only been the away team once, while LSU has been the away team twice. Therefore, according to the rule, LSU will be the home team tonight.
The Wake Forest message board was having a meltdown about this last night. That’s how I learned the rule.

I’m confused too. I thought based on the rules I saw to determine home/away LSU should be the home team too but that’s not what I’m seeing on any scoreboards I see that all show LSU batting first tonight.

It shows us as home team on NCAA baseball scoreboard. That's the only I just looked at.
