The coaching method he's talking about is now dead. In the early 70's it wasn't impossible for a coach to motivate kids by making them believe they were something they weren't, but with ESPN, social media, bloggers, tigerdroppings, 247 recruiting rankings etc etc David always knows he's outgunned in a David vs Goliath situation these days. It's just the world we live in today

Are you serious? So because of media and social media there can not be, will not be the elevation of human spirit to overcome unimaginable odds. There sure in the hell won't be in your life if that's your built in excuse.
