Todd McShay Top 25

I rarely post, but read religiously here on the rant, and decided this needed mentioning.
On ESPN Radio about 30 minutes ago, Todd McShay gave his preseason top 10.
No major surprises except for the fact that he had Bama as his preseason #6 and his pick to win the west. Had LSU at 9 saying our QB situation was a "disaster" and that we lacked big time NFL talent. I am not making this up.
I am not a suscriber, by the way, to the "ESPN hates LSU" mentality. Just shocked to hear this point of view from a professional analyst.
Anyway, enjoy and comment if you deem necessary.

Bama starts 0-1 in ATL. They win 8 games tops. I think they lose 7th in a row to the Plainsmen.

As far as NFL talent, didn't ESPN, the same people McShay works for, have like three or four LSU players going in the 1st round in their mock 2009 NFL Draft? I know Al Woods, Demetrius Bryd, and Ricky-Jean Francois were mentioned.

Let me clarify the lacking NFL talent comment.
He was referring to last year's team, and said that besides Dorsey, we didn't have much big time NFl talent in last year's draft.

How does a team go 7-6, just 6 months ago, and then become #6 Preseason ?
I guess the number one recruiting class get a lot of clout these days?
Saying LSU doesn't have big time NFL talent is really an embarrassment to him as an analyst..
He will look like a big goof ball after the season is over...
Bama may end up at #6, I just highly doubt it..
Saban continues to get a lot of respect...
