We hired Orgeron because he was Cajun and one of us.

8-5 and 7-6 arky is pretty bad.

OM was decent, but dey cheated.

Right but that is why Miles got fired. For losing games to the teams mentioned above and his offense was piss poor.

So why should it be any different with O.

Not to mention the fact that Miles had two of those games in 11 years and O has one in like 4 games.

I posted this yesterday, it got ignored. Some people don't seem to like this little tidbit of info.

State loses to Georgia, Auburn and Alabama at least. No way they're a top 10 team.

Yeah, because LSU's 2008 squad was just fantastic.

2008 was the first time that a Les Miles coached team was beaten by 30 points while he was at LSU. The loss was to Florida, the eventual national champion. That was in year 4 of Miles' tenure.

2017 was the first time that a Ed Orgeron coached team was beaten by 30 points while he was at LSU. The loss was to Mississippi State, the program that has never won a national title. That was in game 4 of Orgeron's tenure.

This is game 3 of O's first year as coach. YOu think that's a good thing for O?

I think maybe it shows how far Miles let the program sink. You think Orgeron should shoulder all the blame for the lack of depth we have on the roster, that lack of depth being exposed by State?

O was the recruiting coordinator since 2015.

5 OL have transferred since he took over.

And you want blame the shite on Miles.

LSU has had 6 offensive linemen leave the program in the 8 months the Orgeron was head coach.

Who would you say is responsible for that?

Ok fuch that- Auburn was coming off a national championship run, we were staring a true freshman at WR, QB, RB, both DT's, and it was Beckwiths 1st game

Also MILES NEVER LOST TO STATE BY 30

Fuching insane to compare those 2 games

Auburn was not good in 2014. That they were coming off a national title is irrelevant. We replaced just as many starters this year as we did in 2014, possibly more. Who the school is is irrelevant. If State turns out to be a 10+ win team, it isn't devalued because "they're mississippi state." No it's not insane to compare the two games.

New co-ordinators, new freshmen QB thrown to the wolves due to injury, and other positions. But please keep making your points worse.

we have a new head coach, a new offensive coordinator, and new starters at half the positions on offense and defense. We have no depth on the DL or the OL. But yes, let's make excuses for Miles in 2008 and 2014 and blame a coach who hasn't even had the job a full year.

Miles loss by 30 twice in 11 years

O loss by 30 in his 11th game

Miles took over a championship program due to a coach leaving for greener pastures.

O took over a program that had to fire its head coach for letting the program slip.

But they're totally the same situations

This loss likely doesn't happen with Miles offensive philosophy, even towards the end.

like being ranked #2 in the first CFP rankings and getting blown out three straight games?

I thought everything ultimately falls on the head coach? or is that the argument made when shitting on our current coach? TIA

Do you think the talent on this team should equate to 6 wins? LSU is staring that in the face if they don't improve.

I'm also still waiting for you to explain how losing an entire offensive line after he got the job is somehow not Orgeron's fault.

Players transfer when staff changes are made. Les Miles signed a class of 12 people the year Saban quit. Was that Miles' fault?

I think we lack talent where it matters, on both lines. We have no depth whatsoever. It doesn't matter how many 5 star defensive backs, wide receivers, and running backs we have. If you get dominated on both lines of scrimmage due to lack of depth then it doesn't matter how "talented" you think our team is.

why don't you explain why it is all his fault since you're the one blaming him for inheriting a depleted roster

We lost 41-7 at Auburn. Yes, Auburn was the #5 team at the time, but they ended up being a mediocre 8-5 team with a blowout loss to Georgia. Auburn hadn't beaten us that badly since the famous 1999 game in BR.

Les Miles stunk after the BCS NC 2008.

We also hired a coach Ole Piss fired because of performance.

Sure keep sucking O's dick.

Sure it was.

Are you under the impression I'm defending Miles? I'm not. I'm simply pointing out the ridiculous way some fans are having to twist themselves to believe LSU didn't completely frick up this coaching hire.
