42 wins, 14 out of the last 15 and a potential national seed aside, that's 4 straight appearances in the SEC Tournament semi-final. Man has won at over a 70% clip since at LSU, 5 SECT titles, 4 trips to Omaha and a National Championship to his credit. Seriously, what is your beef?

Our fans are spoiled and want championships. They say making it to the CWS is enough but I can promise theyd be even more upset if we won in the CWS and lost.

The beef is that he is an a-hole who is too real with the media.

frick, I like how real he is, but I can see where it would rub people the wrong way.

2012 Stony Brook still rubs me the wrong way immensely.

He has won over 1200 games in his career and anyone who has won that many games knows what he is doing.

Can't we just get along while everything is going great and fight about this when he gets us knocked out in the NCAAT? Sheesh.

Right, so point being we should never lose a game? That's about the beef I anticipated.

I don't get what you're trying to say. Their pitching was ELITE in 2012 and you're a damn fool if you deny that.

What the frick? No they weren't. And this loss was way way worse than the one against Houston. No question about it.

Hold up Chief. CPM does this every year. Most of us are still probably right. His team's peak too early in the season like right now. By the time the playoffs start we are spent!!!

It wasn't their pitching that beat us. It was that they had a lineup that didn't have a hitter hitting below .330 or whatever it was.

Their pitching was far from elite.

It was a bunch of poor-man's versions of senior Chris Cotton... Dudes that topped out in the mid-80's with decent command.

Jankowski and Carmona collectively made LSU their bitch.

The SEC as a whole is on another level competitively since the days of Skip Bertman. That has to factor into too, but that said, LSU has had the inroads to bring home more championships in the Manieri era, just couldn't close.

That's very true and the same could be said for LSU football "since the days of" Nick.

What coach of what highly successful program cant the same be said bout?
