Just because I dislike Miles, for his coaching only, does this mean that I am not supporting the team, no it doesn't. I put all of this on the coaches. They are paid millions to coach these guys. If someone is playing that can't get the job done, then yank them and put someone else in. Coaches recruit these guys and supposed to coach them. Should the players shoulder some of the blame, yes, but ultimately it comes down to the head coach and he is to blame.

miles apologists are likely the same people calling for coaching firings when their favorite pro teams are underachieving.

You said in another thread that lsu finishes 5-7 AT BEST this year. Hard to take you serious.

There's literally no "positigers" left here anymore.

All we have left is nothing but a bunch of "I told you so posts."

Positigers believe the coaches are awesome and the players are the problem...if the execution of a running play is bad it's because the online didn't block it doesn't matter if we are running into 8-9 man fronts

That is my opinion based on what I saw on Saturday. Does that mean I dislike the players, no. Just because I think the team doesn't do well doesn't mean I dislike the players. Time to quit sugar coating things and be honest. If you disagree, so be it, but don't tell me because I don't like miles that it also means I don't support the players. Those two things are not the same.

it really is amazing how they will defend miles, an adult making over $4M a year and rip the shite out of 18-22 year olds making nothing. i just take it in stride while i watch the world burn these days but i KNEW it was coming

Same reason why I dislike CPM. He calls guys out in public. If you are the coach and the players don't do what you want, then address that internally. Not in public.

Just to be clear, You don't think the players have any responsibility to execute?

I put all of this on the coaches
I think this is the pressure point between self-styled "positigers" and those who want positive results now (wrongly labeled "negatigers" by those who refuse to hold the coach(es) accountable in meaningful ways)- instead of again accepting excuses, inane statements, procrastination and mediocrity from this talent-laden team (and others like it in seasons before). That LSU could lose even with the kind of talent we have is certainly not denied; what is being held up for hard questions and answers is how such a talented team could come up with such a terrible effort against Wisconsin (as on 1/9/12) unless it is the coaching. Demanding change now is not unreasonable; this HC has had more than his share of the benefit of the doubt.

The chickens have now come home to roost.

They live in a glass house.

Never mind..., they suck anyway. Don't worry about them.

they do

but our offense sets up a lot of failure, esp for the QB

like i said earlier. our offense is only efficient if we're just mauling people up front and is basically a game theory disaster. we are completely unbalanced in our offensive range

You are pretty broad brush with this comment. Who is ripping the players?

Right now ain't it.
