Was TM7 married to his fricking teammates? People, it is a team, not a legal entity.
I would jump in front of a bullet for my son, I wouldn't do that for a damn co-worker.
You really just equated playing a sport to being married...

Would love for him to be a part of the Texans....they need a return guy and he could also help the secondary.

Dude you said this:

People act like they don't do things for themselves, all of you do. Every decision you make is not about the people surrounding you.
You aren't talking about sports there guy. Unless you think that every person on this board is still on a team. Wow, I love when people say something so stupid and then try to act like everyone else doesn't have a clue.

Not to mention, this statement is just fricking retarded:
If he was such a team player, he would have thought about the team first all of the time and would have stopped taking drugs after multiple failed tests and a suspension. He claims to be clean now, so why didn't he clean up his act before he was dismissed?

Did you see what I was responding to? Do you know what it is that we are even talking about?

Wait what?

Lol no it's not clear. That is pure speculation.

Whatev, facts are facts I guess.

He asked what pick the texans had so i answered. He'll go in the 3rd round, imo.
Gotcha, if his PR campaign works I think maybe 3rd at the very best. He probably would be better off not being drafted and being able to sign FA with a team that is looking for his particular skill set and matching a fit for him versus a team just drafting him late to see if he can make it.

Yes he was. Flawed as all hell, but as good of a field general as we've had in a while. We'd have a couple of rings and he played last season.
I agree....the team loved him and he was a leader in 2011. He had swagger..but it was always with the team.

What?
On the field everybody called him the Honey badger, but he never distanced himself as being bigger than the team.

Until he failed multiple drug tests, which affected the team.

Off the field stuff. We had a player walk away from football last season for personal issues, is he also not a team player?
TM7 clearly had some problems, he had to take care of himself before he could really be the team player he should be. Is that selfish? Yes. Is it wrong to be selfish sometimes? No.
He couldn't quit for his team, he couldn't quit for himself. It took the realization that he would live a life of poverty and crime if he didn't get his shite together. It would appear, as of now, that he has gotten his shite together.
Better late than never. Let your anger go Harry.
Posted on 3/28/13 at 10:24 am to TexasTiger1185
Lol im not angry. Im right.
Eta: did you really just compare leaving the team for personal reasons to getting kicked off for failing too many drug tests?
Poor tyrann, pot addiction is terrible.

Holy shite, get the frick out of here. This happened in the past, let it go. He knows he made a huge mistake. Have you ever though how much he was disappointed with himself after all this?
He loves this school so damn much, and he threw it away. That must eat him alive every minute to know that he will never get another chance to play for LSU again.
That being said, you gotta think that motivates him a shite ton. And everyone deserves a better chance at life. I like this guy and always will. He isn't a bad person, not a bad person at all. Humble as ever. He was just flawed when he was here, fame got to him.
I really wish him the best. Would be frickin awesome if he got drafted by the Texans.

He made a huge mistake multiple times. I think he will do well in the NFL, i just thought his team player comment was funny.
