You seem upset. Try proving to me why blue is anywhere near yeldons level. Unbiased purple and shades glasses off also. I'm an LSU fan BTW

I watch games and use my eyes. FWIW, I think Yeldon is better than Blue. Anywhere near yeldon's level is a ridiculous set of words to use. The fact that he starts for an SEC football team puts him Near yeldon's level.

Blue was going off against North texas and Washington, Yeldon was going off against SEC teams.

I don't thin blue is on par physically. I guess we'll see this upcoming season *fingers crossed* Blue stays healthy.

I don't care that you think he's better.

I just think to say he is vastly inferior is an exaggeration.

Great point... Still think Hugo Stiglitz is the best user name in history... "Every German officer knows who Hugo Stiglitz is..."

Is Ingram near peterson's level? They both start for nfl teams by your logic.

that's unfair to compare based off of different competition especially when Blue got hurt. GFY

Yeldon is the best RB in the nation. I love Blue but he's not anywhere near Yeldon.

Lets see how well Blue does with a full season under Cameron. Then we can have this conversation. Yeldon was helped by playing in a better offensive scheme and an all-time OL. For now, I have to say that Yeldon is a better back. Maybe it's the Mark Ingram, Stevsn Ridley scenario. Ingram was a Heisman winner/1st RD pick but Ridley is having a better pro career do far.

I would take Yeldon every day over Blue. Yeldon has 175 carries in 1 year of college football. Blue has 138 carries in 3 years. Just as a player I never got some LSU fans fascination with Blue. He literally gets hurt everytime he is asked to pound the ball inside with any consistency. Blue has never proven he can take the pounding of an SEC schedule. Blue is also coming off yet another injury.

Yeldon is better then blue. I love blue, but yeldon is better.

A better comparison would be hill vs yeldon.

I can name 30 running backs in the NFL I'd take over Ingram.
I can't name 10 college running backs I'd take over Blue.

You would take Blue and he likely wouldn't make it to mid season as a feature back. He is always hurt. On top of that he is coming off a major knee injury. Blue is nothing but potential thus far. Yeldon has done more in 1 year than Blue has over his LSU career.

Les Miles seems to think that Blue was better than Spencer Ware, Michael Ford, Kenny Hilliard and Jeremy Hill at the beginning of last season. That an impressive group to lead.

We as fans have an incredibly small sample to make a valid assessment as to whom is better, Blue or
Yeldon. In short, any fans' opinion that Yeldon is vastly superior to Blue or visa versa is an uninformed one.

I think their style is similar for sure. They both remind me of Joe Addai when he was at LSU. Fast, upright, tough, skilled.

Difference: Blue doesn't steal iPods, GPS, and phones out of people's car
