I love how posters expect a different team to take the floor each night. Unfortunately this has been our team for most of the year. They have shown an ability to compete at times and the same ability to get drilled.

Ludwig needs to transfer,

biggest problem is they can't beat a press or handle a double team/trap in the half court.

We made the tournament his first year and absolutely got shafted with the UNC matchup and should've went much further in the tournament. But look who he inherited:
Marcus Thornton- NBA player who can go for 20 in a heart beat and bail a team out on just pure scoring ability
Garrett Temple- 4 year starter great D and an NBA 10 day contract warrior
Chris Johnson- another senior who tore it up in the D league and has made it into the NBA
Tasmin Mitchell- another veteran who is a great college player and leader
Bo Spencer- not amazing but when surrounded by talent was a good outside shooter bc of lack of Defenese attention to him.
That team though short on depth was filled with talent and experience in it's starting 5 and requires very little coaching.
Since then what has TJ shown??? Tas carried the team the year after that an kept them in games and then last year Bo Spencer was allowed to shoot from anywhere when ever he wanted. Point is he hasn't done any coaching. These are his players he's had time to instill his system and discipline this team and teach them and it isn't there. He's just as bad as John Brady all his teams play 1 on 1 basketball and try timout athlete and talent the opponent. He doesn't put them in a system that allows them to make up for lack of talent and compete in games.

I don't think that is an unfair assessment at this stage. I'm still a TJ supporter though and I really hope that next year this team is able to compete on a consistent basis. If not, well, we'll have to have another discussion at that point.

I don't expect to see a different team each night. I expect to see a Coach in this level of basketball have a team that's fundamentally sound and disciplined. Talent has nothing to do with that, nothing at all. I can get the lack of talent. But the way this team has played the last 3 years is unaccpetable you don't have to have NBA all starts to be a conceptive team. Look at the mid-major school that compete every year. They're built around solid fundamentals and team displace they're bot getting McDonald all Americans every year. LSU might not be a basketball school but we're better than this. I can handle losing games because of lack of talent but this is just flat out bad basketball!
