I doubt it has anything to do with philosophy but what the hell do I know. in fact, all I know is that we can't score runs; we fail to hit sacrifice flies or even grounders to second with a guy on third much less get a hit with RISP much less get extra base hits. hell I can't remember the last time we got a double with a man on first base.

Ahh the go to lazy catch all of the LSU fan base.

Consistent timely hitting is the issue with this team. Not the whole offensive philosophy. They get a lot of hits and get plenty of people on base. That is part of the philosophy. Driving those runners in is the other part. Some of that is luck such as having the right guy up with runners on, which this team struggle with. A couple of the "clutch" guys are also the guys that get on base a lot. Duplantis Freeman Smith and Deichmann. Kramer is just hit or miss at this point. No one taking control of the DH spot is one of the bigger problems on this team. Watson is good at getting on base but not great with people on. Pap is Pap. Not great but works a count, draws walks, and comes up clutch every so often.
