Tired of hearing about "he lost three in a row"

While three losses may be a legitimate reason to end Miles coaching career at LSU, "three in a row" is not. Curly never lost three in a row - but he never had a winning season and he never went to a bowl game. Dinardo never lost three in a row - you want someone with his record back?

The "in a row" argument (saw it on at least two boards today) is inane.

The number of losses counts - the number in a row doesn't.

I think most agree it's not the three in a row part...but the fact we got shellacked by double digits and were not competitive three times in a row....

This state embraces mediocrity. Bama would have already thrown a brick threw a window.

It becomes a relevant number when you look at how we performed in each game

Sorry getting your arse handed to you by a mediocre Arkansas team at night in TS is not acceptable.

It has very little to do that they were 3 losses in a row. If they lost close games for 2 of them we aren't having this conversation until maybe next year.

How about the fact that LSU lost three in a row by double digits for the first time since 1966? I find that alarming.

13-10 SEC in the recent years

3 games blown out not just lost- 2015

5 in row to Saban

how long since we won the west much less SECG

Miles is paid more than most CEO's- At that paygrade you are expected to perform at the highest level

Ok so he list three in a row. Sorry Charlie , but you act like he has to Win 10 to 11 games a year to keep you satisfied. Well sorry mr. Greedy, life doesn't work that way in college football and you are one I am gonna look up when lsu gets a mediocre coach that goes 7-5 the 1st couple years.

To those who bring up the 90's.Do you really think it would have been any different if Miles would have coached in the 90s? without the big budget and the best Coaching Staff money can buy. NO! 3 years and FIRED

That point about Alabama is true...as a frequent visitor to Alabama, I see clearly where they expect, and demand, excellence. Unfortunately. all too often, LSU people don't.
I'm Louisiana born and raised, and am a graduate of LSU.

He lost 3 in a row twice in the same season. Then lost 8 in a row before being fired.

Where do you guys come from?
